About the Job
Hire Resolve is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist for their client in the plastics industry. The successful candidate will ensure all products/services meet company standards and customer expectations through comprehensive testing and evaluation processes.
Responsibilities
Manages the process of accepting or rejecting incoming materials, inspecting raw materials and components according to company specifications.
Ensures that production processes adhere to established quality and food safety standards through inspections, tests, measurement tools, and critical parameters, intervening to resolve any anomalies.
Ensures the conformity of finished products through inspections and reports, managing the potential blocking or handling of defective batches in collaboration with production managers.
Implements strategies for managing and resolving non-conformities, as well as continuous improvement plans, as defined by the quality management team.
Ensures the compliance and updating of quality control documentation, including technical sheets, inspection reports, and certificates of conformity.
Supports corporate certification activities, ensuring processes and products comply with required standards.
Acts as a partner to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring cooperation, transparency, reliability, and operational support.
Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Quality Management or similar.
Knowledge of raw materials, products, performance, and controls.
Understanding of production processes.
Proficiency in IT tools, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical skills in data analysis and testing.
Knowledge and use of control instrumentation.
Document management skills, including organization, classification, and archiving.
Familiarity with basic principles of food safety management systems and auditing.
Proficiency in ERP software, especially SAP.
