About the Job

Accounting & Financial Advisory is looking for a Junior Inventory Clerk for a short-term contract. This role involves assisting in the procurement, tracking, and stock count of IT equipment within the banking procurement department, working closely with the IT Equipment Inventory Manager.

Responsibilities

Assist in the procurement of IT equipment including computers, laptops, tablets, printers, and other related devices.
Receive and log incoming equipment shipments, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders.
Update inventory records in the company’s database system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
Maintaining of fixed assets register and perform regular stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies with physical inventory.
Collaborate with IT team members to ensure that equipment is distributed to the appropriate departments.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized inventory storage area.
Generate regular reports on inventory levels, orders, and stock count results.
Assist in the disposal or recycling of obsolete or damaged equipment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Previous experience in inventory management, procurement, or stock control preferred.
Knowledge of IT equipment and technology products.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
