BET Software is looking for an Intermediate Software Quality Analyst to perform manual functional testing and test automation, manage the defect lifecycle, and contribute to delivering high-quality digital experiences. The role also involves documenting, sharing knowledge, and running training sessions to upskill the team.

Responsibilities

Examine documentation like business requirements and specifications to derive appropriate test estimates and formulate a strategic test approach, ensuring thorough test coverage.
Develop manual functional test cases that adhere to internal standards and best practices.
Manage the development and execution of these tests within the test management tool to ensure both organization and efficiency.
Design and implement API tests to ensure system interoperability and robustness.
Execute tests using the relevant tools, ensuring that each test is conducted methodically and accurately.
Formally log any defects found during testing.
Follow up on the progress of these defects and retest them once they are addressed.
Conduct both retesting and regression testing to ensure that software changes have not adversely affected existing functionality.
Maintain the regression test pack.
Create test progress and test completion reports leveraging automated reporting capabilities as far as possible.
Create documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
Be involved in conducting training sessions with the team to support upskilling efforts.

Requirements

BSc, BCom, Ndip.
At least 3 years of QA related experience.
ISTQB certifications are advantageous.
