BET Software is looking for an Intermediate Software Quality Analyst to perform manual functional testing and test automation, manage the defect lifecycle, and contribute to delivering high-quality digital experiences. The role also involves documenting, sharing knowledge, and running training sessions to upskill the team.

Responsibilities

Examine documentation like business requirements and specifications to derive test estimates and formulate a strategic test approach.
Develop manual functional test cases adhering to internal standards and best practices.
Manage the development and execution of tests within the test management tool.
Design and implement API tests to ensure system interoperability and robustness.
Execute tests using relevant tools, ensuring methodical and accurate conduction.
Formally log any defects found during testing.
Follow up on the progress of defects and retest them once addressed.
Conduct retesting and regression testing to ensure software changes have not adversely affected existing functionality.
Maintain the regression test pack.
Create test progress and test completion reports leveraging automated reporting capabilities.
Create documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
Conduct training sessions with the team to support upskilling efforts.

Requirements

BSc, BCom, Ndip.
At least 3 years of QA related experience.
ISTQB certifications are advantageous.
