About the Job
Standard Bank Group is seeking a visionary Head of Business Development to formulate and implement an effective Employee Value Banking (EVB) business development strategy in alignment with Personal and Private Banking South Africa requirements to drive client growth. The role is accountable for the overall performance of the EVB portfolio.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve organisational growth targets.
Identify and pursue new market opportunities within the Financial Services industry.
Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
Oversee the development of compelling business proposals and presentations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business development initiatives with overall company objectives.
Report on business development performance and provide insights to senior management.
Drive innovation in our approach to market expansion and customer acquisition.
Requirements
First Degree Business Commerce FAIS Aligned Qualification.
RE 1 Key Individual.
5-7 years Experience in the design and development of client value propositions.
Experience within PPB/Business Clients distribution environment.
Experience in the application of data management, advanced analytics, business intelligence and quantitative techniques.
