iqbusiness South Africa is looking for a seasoned project manager to lead and deliver high-impact projects across their organization and client base. Experience in financial services is a strong advantage. They are looking for a confident and capable project manager with 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering both IT and business projects. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader who can align stakeholders, manage risks, and deliver results.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocations.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues to ensure smooth delivery.
Ensure all projects align with client methodologies and industry best practices.
Facilitate project meetings, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure deliverables meet quality, time, and budget expectations.
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on experience delivering both IT and business projects.
Relevant degree in project management, business administration, computer science, business science, or engineering.
Fluent in methodologies like PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban.
Strategic leadership skills.
Ability to align stakeholders, manage risks, and deliver results.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity while keeping your team focused and motivated.
